The Iona Gas Plant is located near Port Campbell, near Victoria’s Twelve Apostles.  Commissioned in 1999, the plant has a capacity to supply up to 320 TJ per day of natural gas to Victoria and South Australia during periods of high gas demand or during supply shortages.

TRUenergy is currently developing a new combined cycle natural gas power station near Wollongong New South Wales.  Due for completion in time for summer 2008/09, the 400 megawatt TRUenergy Tallawarra power station will be Australia’s most efficient gas-fired generation facility, producing 70 percent less emissions than a coal fired power plant.
